There are different ways of transferring apps from one iPhone device to another. You can transfer these apps using an iCloud service or third-party apps. In this article, we shall discuss the two methods.

How to Transfer Apps using an iCloud service

First, you must backup your old iPhone to iCloud. Once the backup of your old phone is completed, you can restore it during your new iPhone’s setup. To do that you:

1. Turn on your new iPhone and follow the setup instructions.

2. On the Apps & Data screen, tap “Restore from iCloud Backup.”

3. When your iPhone asks you to sign in to iCloud, use the same Apple ID that you used on your previous iPhone.

4. Tap “Next,” and choose the most recent backup to install.

After a few moments, your phone will be restored with all the apps from your previous iPhone.

If you’ve already set up your new iPhone without restoring your old apps, you can still restore the apps from a backup, but it will erase any apps and data you have since installed on the new phone.

How Transfer Apps from iPhone to iPhone Using MobileTrans

MobileTrans is a third-party app one can use to transfer apps from one device to another.

The following steps clearly show how you can transfer apps from iPhone to iPhone using MobileTrans

Step 1. Download, install, and launch MobileTrans on your PC. Select the “Phone Transfer” option from the main interface to proceed to the next step.

Step 2. Use suitable media like a USB to connect your two iPhones to the computer. When the connection is established, you should see the two iPhone icons side by side. You can click the “Flip” button to switch the destination and source iPhones.

Step 3. Now choose the apps you want to transfer from the old iPhone to the new iPhone. Just tick the button beside individual apps and hit the “Start” button to allow the program to move apps from the old iPhone to the new iPhone.

If you want to get rid of any data on the destination phone, just check the “Clear data before copy” button. Monitor the transfer progress, and please don’t disconnect any of the iPhones as the process runs.
