WhatsApp has rolled out Dark Mode in its latest version for both iOS and Android users. The dark mode interface of the WhatsApp Messenger comes similar to the Facebook Messenger App and that of Instagram Dark mode of the parent company.
As a user of this popular Instant messaging app, from today 3/3/2020, you can enable the dark mode on your Application. Follow the below steps to enable the dark mode for both Android and iOS.
How to Enable Dark Mode in WhatsApp for iOS
To enable dark mode for iOS devices, you must first make sure your iOS version is 13.1 and above.
Now to enable the dark mode, just open the quick menus in the control Centre on your iOS device and tap on dark mode to turn it ON.
Once you tap on the dark mode option, your WhatsApp application interface will automatically change to the dark mode version.
How to Enable Dark Mode in WhatsApp for Android
To enable the dark mode on Android devices, you first have to make sure you are using the latest version of the app.
Now Open WhatsApp from the app drawer or home screen.
Tap the action menu (three vertical dots in the top right corner).
Select Settings in the popup menus.
Now under settings, Select Chats and then Choose Themes.
Here, you’ll see the Choose Theme dialog box, tap on it and select Dark.
Once you select the Dark option, You should see the interface being switched to a dark Mode.
That’s all. You have successfully enabled the dark mode on your Android WhatsApp version.
