SAWISE Angus Scholarship for African Women

The Association of South African Women in Science and Engineering (SA WISE) is a dynamic association for all those who support the idea of strengthening the role of women in science and engineering in Africa. the association is offering a One year, full-time scholarship to the sub-Saharan black female Science and Engineering undergraduate student.

Eligibility:

i. A sub-Saharan black female.
ii. Must have achieved 70% or above grade average in her subject of study.
iii. Only for studies at Honours level (or 4th-year equivalent e.g. in engineering).
iv. In any field of science and engineering.

Scholarship Worth: Recipients will receive R15 000 p.a.

How to Apply:

Applications for these scholarships must include copies of the following:
a. Curriculum vitae.
b. An official academic transcript (record).
c. A letter of motivation (~350 words).
d. A certified copy of your ID.
e. A completed online application form.

The closing date for all applications is 15 November 2019.
